Admiral Browning is a most impressive instrumental progressive rock / metal band. They have a pretty diverse and eclectic style and kick lots of ass.
Fast Forty is an experimental artist who describes his style as "intense ambient". His setup is typically a mixture of tubular bells, gongs, synths, and circuit bent instruments, all tweaked and sculpted with plenty of effects processing. His live shows are terrific, combining ambient/drone/experimental music with a lot of energy and melodic interest.
