I just added a new tutorial on making music with Reaper on the articles page; it was originally posted on the TIGForums (an excellent community for indie game developers), but may be of interest to any relative newcomers to making computer music.

I am getting pumped up for this year's RPM Challenge, to write and record an album (10 songs or 35 minutes) during the month of February, where I'm signed up as Filthadelic. Last year I fell short of completing the challenge, but it was a great experience -- I learned a lot and it was a great source of motivation.

I have created a new "articles" section on the site (see the menubar on the left) and hope to be adding a bunch of tutorials and various music-related technical articles.
The first addition is an introduction to Audio Effect Racks in the Ableton Live software, so if you are a Live user, please have a look!

Welcome to the new website!
I have an upcoming DJ gig at DC's Artomatic on Friday, June 26. I will be playing the main stage on the 1st floor from 6-7 PM, throwing down some house, some harder beats, and maybe a little UK garage.
Artomatic is super-conveniently accessible by Metro (Navy Yard station on the Green line; the Half Street exit takes you directly to the building where Artomatic is happening). Artomatic is a terrific event with a LOT to see and do, come check it out!
